York College Old Girls Association

The Association for Past Pupils and Staff of York College for Girls (1908–1997)

YCOGA was founded and is run by past pupils of York College for Girls. Before the school closed in 1997, the association helped considerably with providing facilities for the school, most notably the Addison Library.

Since 1997, the Association's main aim has been to keep former pupils in touch with each other. This is done via an annual Newsletter and Annual Dinner (in recent years held at La Vecchia Scuola, 62 Petergate, York). The AGM is held in March each year. In addition there is a YCOGA presence on Friends Reunited and Facebook.

During the summer the committee organises trips out from York and these are advertised within the Newsletter.

To become a life member of YCOGA, please download the application form (.doc) and send it, with a cheque for £25, to the address on the form.
